THE ROTTERS Sit On My Face Stevie Nix (Rare 1978 US wide centred
7" vinyl single paying tribute to the gossamer gowned angel in a more
direct manner than might normally be appropriate. This is the original
first pressing, privately funded, on the orange Rotten Records label.
Both sides written by the engorged Phester Swollen, who handles the
guitar parts including a very sloppy steal of a little bit of 'Rh**nn*n' at
the beginning of the title track. The picture sleeve is also the first
printing with just 'Banned' in the top right corner, not 'Banned In LA'.
Also including a music review of the impact that this single by the L.A.
Punksters had on the listening public of California, not to mention
members of a certain multi platinum rock band! The sleeve itself is in
nice condition with just a little edgewear and a little darkening to the
top left where a small sticker once resided. The vinyl is in fantastic
condition with minimal surface noise & no visible marks, so you can be
sure to enliven your party with either this or their crowd pleasing flip
side 'Amputee' - A gem! TR-002)
