THE FRINGE Flower Generation (2008 UK strictly limited edition 2-track 7" vinyl single, originally released in 1968 by this legendary Canadian garage band from Toronto - 'Flower People' is wonderful flower pop with great harmonies, very much of its time, not dissimilar to Donovan's ouput in this period, while the flip, 'Token For My Mind' is a fine piece of psychedelia with nice layered harmonies and really heavy acid guitar work; in the classic garage tradition, this series has beenfairly cheaply reproduced, and while the vinyl may present some visual anomalies, all copies have been test-played and came up smiling!
