RALPH MCTELL Streets Of London (OK, the LP may be called
'Streets Of London' & this song may be inextricably linked to
Ralph McTell, but oh boy did he do some other stuff too! A true
master troubadour & crafter of many top quality songs,
eleven of which are presented here on this 1981 issue of the
1975 sampler LP. This album actually contains the original
version of the song, rather than the big hit single version & is
to be commended for that. With sleeve notes by Jerry Gilbert
who, like me, urges you to check out the rest of his back
catalogue if you are still of the opinion that Ralph was a one
hit wonder. The picture sleeve has a some edge scuffing and
some light shelfwear and the vinyl is Excellent with only a few
light signs of play TRASAM34)
