MORRISSEY Redondo Beach/ There Is A Light That Never
Goes Out (2005 UK limited edition AA-side 7" single, featuring
his version of the classic Smiths track plus a splendid cover of
Patti Smith's 'Redondo Beach'. This was the only single from
Morrissey’s Live At Earls Court album, recorded in concert on
18 December 2004. The cover art features a photograph of a
ruminating Morrissey sitting on his haunches at Hollywood
Forever cemetery with an autographed teardrop shaped
guitar [a Vox Teardrop BJ Model, autographed by New York
Dolls guitarist Sylvain Sylvain]. The picture sleeve shows
minimal wear & the vinyl appears barely played ATKSE015)
