Endserenading displayed a softer, almost slowcore sound than the band had previously explored, filled with raw and urgent emotion through LoveLetterTypewriter and Walking to Winter. Much like any classic '90s album, finding this in mint condition is virtually impossible and most copies are tucked away in private collections. This copy remains in its original opened shrink, and both the sleeve and vinyl have remained in near mint condition for nearly 30 years in the wild. The debut album from the Texan emo band, who influenced an entire generation with the often frenetic and always beautiful music, and Chris Simpsons heart-wrenching lyrics. Long before 'emo' became a dirty word, Mineral were breaking hearts alongside Jimmy Eat World, Christie Front Drive, Boys Life and countless others with stunning tracks like Parking Lot, Gloria, and If I Could. More than 25 years after its release, it is almost impossible to find mint condition copies of The Power of Failing, and while this copy does show some minor wear to the sleeve from storage and some paper scuffs to the vinyl, it is graded as a strong VG. Even the reissues are creeping up in price, and this is only the second copy of the original pressing we have ever seen here.
