LED ZEPPELIN Gallows Pole (Extremely rare 1970 US advance promotional solid centre vinyl 7" with custom pasted over 'Advance cut from forthcoming "Led Zeppelin III" LP' black on white labels with credits listed, this was issued to radio stations before the release of the album and plays the Mono and Stereo versions, housed in a plain card sleeve. The version of the song features is approximately eleven seconds longer to that used on the album, making this unique to this release. Both sides of the vinyl have a few surface marks. The Mono side plays Excellent with very little lessening in sound quality, whilst the Stereo side is Very Good with a few clicks during playback but plays without any issues. The cover has a unique printing error where the group's names have been mixed up under the picture, with only Jimmy Page captioned correctly! The cover has some minor foxing, a natural weather occurence with Japanesepaper goods over time, which is mostly on the inside. This is forgiveable for such an iconic record - there is no writing, no tears & all text is legible. The vinyl is very clean and graded Excellent with just light evidence of play. LED ZEPPELIN Houses Of The Holy (Rare 1973 UK first issue 8-track LP with A2/B3 matrices & clearly stamped with 'RL' denoting a Bob Ludwig cut, housed in the Hipgnosis gatefold picture sleeve with lyric inner & the almost impossible to find outer sleeve belly band, which were limited to the first batch press only with many now lost or destroyed. The sleeve shows minimal wear leaving it Excellent, whilst the vinyl is likewise Excellent with very little sign of play. The super rare belly band has been fully split along the right hand edge and shows light creasing with spots of discolouration here & there. This type of condition is very much in keeping with the first 1973 press state & the condition of the delicate paper is all important when identifying these originals, they were never made to last & finding House Of The Holy in a complete first press state is now something of a miracle! There is no country of manufacture on the label and has one line of perimeter text. A0051 A2WILF3/BMF2 etched in the runout aswell as the 'LZ10A2/B' etchings scratched out. This copy looks immaculate for its age, the German manufactured heavy card sleeve shows only the lightest show of wear towards the top edge of the pocket opening with no significant wear anywhere else on the sleeve.
