Led Zeppelin III - 1st - VG

LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin III (Rare 1970 UK first press 10-track stereo LP, with Peter Grant label credit below the album title & 'Do What Thou Wilt' / 'So Mote It Be' hand-scratched into the run-outs. Comes housed in the original die-cut laminated gatefold picture sleeve with top & bottom opening rotating wheel half [later issues discarded this]. The sleeve is Very Good with some minor scuffing including the odd tiny crease or spot of discolouring commensurate with age, whilst therotating wheel is in full working order. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with some light paper hairlines either side not interfering with playback)

The Peter Grant label credit as the band's executive producer is a very tough pressing to find. This text was absent from all later issues.

There are no vinyl differences between this and the second label variant, which actually followed on from this one without pause.
