ELKIE BROOKS Shooting Star / Live And Learn (2010 issue UK 21-track 2-on-1 CD album - Continuing Spectrum range of 2 on 1 albums, this set comprises Elkie's 3rd & 4th solo albums. 1978's 'Shooting Star', saw a radical change in direction, aimed at breaking her into the American market, and features her hit cover version of Neil Young's 'Only Love Can Break Your Heart' and follow up 'Since You Went Away'. 1979's 'Live and Learn' saw Elkie reunited with her old producers Leiber and Stoller to create an album that would capitalise on her ever growing popularity.
