BIG STAR Radio City (Mega Rare 1974 US first press 12-track LP on Ardent mastered by Larry Nix with '-L.Nix-' etched in the run-out grooves, a powerpop masterpiece including the unforgettable Daisy Glaze & September Gurls, with some of the brightest guitar tones ever committed to record! As a follow-up to their debut '#1 Record', this album was similarly critically acclaimed but suffered from the same poor sales. As a result original copies in any kind of shape are thin on the ground. The pasted picture sleeve [G] has a deletion saw-cut in the spine, with obvious signs of discolouration/ring/edgewear and scuffs throughout - sadly often seen with US jackets of this age. Most text is legible including along the spine. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades VG with some light paper hairlines/scuffing and medium signs of play. The band's second album was recorded without original member Chris Bell but is easily the equal of their debut in terms of quality.
