ARCHIE SHEPP Fire Music (1965 French original 5-track mono LP on a
black rim orange label with four 'Impulse' label logos. This record is a
colossal, hard bop, free jazz firestorm & one of the most powerful
outcries of the entire 'freeform' movement, starring Marion Brown,
Joseph Orange, Ted Curson & more, heavyweight laminated & pasted
[and stickered] gatefold sleeve. Aside from one small corner bump the
sleeve shows very little wear, with bright colours, all text legible & a
nice, clear spine. The vinyl is clean and, aside from a small scuff, looks

with Algerians & Touareg musicians alongside Dave Burrell,

vinyl LP, recorded in New York City, 1963 with J. C. Moses &
Don Moore, this line up was later joined by Don Cherry to
become the New York Contemporary Five and this album is
viewed as apilot for Consequences, pasted front laminated
picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light general
wear with a little laminate stress, whilst the vinyl is graded as
VG with a small cluster of light marks on side one, which
cause a fewlight clicks on rotation during the title track. A
good chance to pick up this album at a nice price)
