First released in March 1983, The Hurting was Tears For Fears' debut album and an instant success, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart in its second week and later achieving Platinum status. A dark yet melodic work rooted in themes of childhood trauma and emotional catharsis, it introduced the duo's distinctive sound to the world. The album features the band's first three hit singles - "Mad World", "Change", and "Pale Shelter" - all of which charted in the UK Top Five. Pressed on 180-gram heavyweight Black Vinyl and housed inside a picture sleeve replicating the original UK cover artwork, with series obi strip & factory sealed. Recommended)
