His handwritten message reads, "To Akela [we'll do ourbest] Jackie, I was in Worthing/Goring Cubs & Scouts when I was young, you do good work. If this donation can help then good [just don't keep asking, alright], To your pack, keep rockin', Billy Idol". Accompanying the card is a personal cheque for $50.00 Dollars handwritten by Billy, dated 9.2.97 and made payable to 1st Sandy Norman Cubs, drawn on the Wells Fargo Bank account of William M. Broad - Billy's real name - and personally signed as William M Broad. A truly fantastic one-off personal item from the punk-pop legend himself!)
