THE KOOBAS Gypsy Fred (Very rare 1967 UK promotional poster. This fantastic 1960s artefact for the super collectable and short-lived Liverpool 'Beat Group' promotes both the release of the single 'Gypsy Fred', alongside its use in a long-forgotten BBC TV Series 'Mickey Dunne' [a made for TV version of the Michael Caine film Alfie]. Measuring 50cm x 39cm the superb red-on-white colour scheme and sharp graphics combine to make this a wonderfully striking image which just screams "the Sixties"! Obtained from a private collector, the item has been folded but never displayed and remains in stunning condition throughout - Original Koobas vinyl releases were pressed in small quantites and are difficult to come by, we have never seen a poster before and can find no other examples anywhere. Rare ain't the word - highly recommended)
