VAN MORRISON Astral Weeks (Very rare 1968 UK first press 8-track stereo LP on the orange Warner Brothers label, often voted one of the most significant albums of the sixties, blending Folk, Blues & Jazz. Astral Weeks was a radical departure fromthe sound of Morrison's previous work & still proves experimental to this day, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The cover grades Good with a former price sticker tear top right on the back, with all print clearly legible including along the spine. There is no writing & the flipbacks are secure [1" split in bottom right corner]. The heavyweight vinyl is clean & grades Very Good with spindle marks & paper hairlines either side which have only minor effect on play. Although far from mint, this is a serviceable collector's example that simply never shows up WS1768)
