KAHVAS JUTE Wide Open (1994 German limited edition 9-track vinyl LP reissue of the cult Australian prog acts sole longplayer originally released in 1971, unique fold-out style picture sleeve with printed inner. This Australian act were tipped forbig things, featuring ace guitarist Dennis Wilson [no, not that one!], Bill Daisley [Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne] and two ex-members of that other Australian prog act tipped for big things, Tamam Shud. However, success eluded them - not sure why,as their blend of Jeff Beck styled guitar work and Cream power trio moves deserved much more recognition. The sleeve shows very little wear, the inner has a small corner crease and the vinyl looks unplayed - with originals fetching £1000+, now's your chance to hear some Aussie prog you didn't know you needed!
