VARIOUS-60S & 70S Old Gold: 60's Volume 3 (1985 UK 14-track vinyl compilation LP which reflects the wealth of memorable hits the early 60s gave pop music in the era between rock 'n' roll and the swinging sixties. The dance hits began to catchthe flavour of rhythm and blues; the slow ballads were gentle teenage love songs and those inbetween were just great to listen to. From the team behind the Old Gold singles series, this collection includes tracks by The Everly Brothers, The Drifters, Little Eva, Carole King, Billy Fury, Chris Montez and more. The glossy picture sleeve shows just a little shelfwear to the edges but the vinyl remains in barely played condition OG1006)
