CMU Open Spaces (2019 UK limited edition 8-track LP pressed on 180gram HQ Virgin Vinyl - Originally released in 1971, this debut album is a well-meaning, pleasant prog album with no obvious weaknesses, but also with some major highlights like the opening jazzy 'Henry' and the revisited of Pharoah Sanders' 'Japan' further to the trully challenging title track with unusual viola contributions, glockenspiel, spacey electric guitar and silent / minimal parts. A pearl of theProg scene of the early Seventies dispersed into oblivion, to be rediscovered and re-evaluated. The vinyl is UNPLAYED housed in the gatefold picture sleeve which remains sealed within its hype-stickered shrinkwrap TB6485)
