THE BLUE NILE Deluxe Edition Paper Sleeve Collection (Set of Three 2014 Japanese exclusive limited edition digitally remastered enhanced SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players]. Featuring the expanded Deluxe Edition double disc editions of the albums Peace At Last, Hats and A Walk Across The Rooftops. Each album in their own mini LP-style card picture sleeve,with the second disc for each also in their own sleeve, with Japanese/English lyrics, individual obi-strip and still in the stickered re-sealable bag. All housed within the rare 6" x 6" x 1½" picture box with space for their last studio album (not issued in this series), and features the artwork for the 'Hats' album on the front & back. The box was only available from Disk Union in Japan, and remains beautiful, with the contents in a 'near as new' condition)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
