Whistle Stop - West 63rd - VG

KENNY DORHAM Whistle Stop (Rare 1961 US 7-track mono LP on the 'West 63rd' Blue Note label, with 'RVG' machine stamped in the run-outs both sides along with the Plastylite 'ear' etching, also featuring Hank Mobley, Kenny Drew, Paul Chambers &Philly Joe Jones. The picture sleeve is pasted & front laminated, with the 'West 61st' address & a small number annotation in the bottom right corner on the back. The cover grades VG with some chips in the laminate in the corners & edges, withall text legible. The panels are nice & sturdy & there is some foxing on the back, with all text clearly legible. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & grades VG/VG- with paper scuffs, hairlines & light spindle wear around the centre hole. Playback remains exceptional due to the high quality pressing, with no distortion & just a little surface on occasion during the quieter sections. A great album! BLP4063)
