Born in the Bahamas, Exuma [named after the Bahamian district] fuses West African-based rhythms and his own brand of folklore with blues and American soul to stunning effect. On this, his third album, an added horn section and hypnotic grooves support lyrics with more social commentary, textured gatefold picture sleeve.
