MILES DAVIS Sketches Of Spain (Super Rare 1961 first Japanese issue 5-track stereo LP on a plain orange Columbia label manufactured by Nippon Columbia, arranged & conducted by Gil Evans. One day Miles played Evans the piece Concierto de Aranjuez for classical guitar & orchestra by Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo & the rest became jazz history! The flipback picture sleeve has a pinched spine & an all over silk laminate finish, & remains in lovely, Excellent condition with no tearsor writing. The vinyl appears Near Mint with only the lightest signs of play by the spindle hole. This is the first time our longstanding Japanese buyer has found this one! YS-153)
