London Conversation - 1st - VG

JOHN MARTYN London Conversation (1967 UK first press 12-track MONO LP on the rough textured pink Island label with circular orange & black 'eye' logo, the stunning debut album by the then-eighteen year old, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The cover has a 2" seam split at the spine, moderate creasing and discolouration to the unlaminated reverse, leaving it graded as VG-. The heavyweight vinyl grades VG with a number of hairline scuffs & the odd tiny scratch yet playback reveals no great loss in fidelity, & there is still a deep sheen still to both sides ILP-952)
