THE EQUALS At The Top (Scarce 1970 UK 13-track vinyl LP from one of the few racially integrated acts of the 1960s and featuring a young Eddy Grant in their line-up. The band were an intriguing musical prospect offering up a cool mix of funk, pop, reggae and rock with certain key tracks predicting the sound of mid-'70s disco, and don't forget The Clash covered their track Police On My Back - what other recommendation do you need? The super cool psychedelic glossy gatefold sleeve shows only minor edge laminate creasing, the poster is MINT and the vinyl too is in MINT condiiton - a great copy of a seldom seen record PTLS1038
