BRASS MONKEY Brass Monkey (1983 UK 9-track LP by a Folk 'Supergroup' containing Martin Carthy on Guitar, Mandolin & Vocals, John Kirkpatrick on various squeezable devices, Howard Evans on Trumpet, Flugelhorn & Chorus Vocals, Martin Brinsford on Mouth Organ, Tambourine, Drum & Saxophone and Roger Williams on Trombone & Chorus Vocals. As you may imagine, the inclusion of Brass instruments within a traditional song environment leads to varied and interesting arrangements of the songsand tunes covered. The sleeve has some light edgewear, but the vinyl appears barely played 12TS431)
