Led Zeppelin - 1st Issue

LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin (Rare 1969 Japanese 1st issue green and blue Atlantic label 9-track STEREO vinyl LP, pressed by Nippon Grammophon, housed in a gatefold pasted picture sleeve with lyrics printed on the inside, with 'Art Rock' logo on thefront and band photograph across the centre on the reverse. The sleeve has a unique printing error where the band members' names have been mixed up under this picture with only Jimmy Page captioned correctly! The sleeve shows a little yellowing and mild surface scuffs to the cover with a little foxing to the innerspread but is overall in nice shape with no rips or tears and legible spine print. The vinyl shows a mark to Side 1 across tracks 1 & 2 but this remains inaudible and with just a little foxing evident to the labels they are nevertheless free of any spindle marks with the vinyl retaining a beautiful lustre suggesting very seldom play! Still a very nice copy of this classic debut over 40 years on!! SMT-1067)
