THE RAMONES Ramones (Very Rare 1976 Japanese 14-track Philips label vinyl LP album, housed in its original pasted picture sleeve complete with Japanese/lyric insert & 'We Are Punk Generation' obi-strip. The sleeve on this copy has some light foxing evident to the front & reverse cover and the obi has a tear through the middle which has been repaired. The vinyl within is showing just one or two cosmetic hairline surface marks on Side 1 but otherwise retains a clean, bright lustre - anexcellent copy! Original Ramones albums with obi-strips are extremely seldom found and are a highly sought after must have! RJ-7175)

Original Japanese Punk and New Wave albums are notoriously hard to find. The companies themselves were brave enough to release the albums in Japan, but the listening market was far from ready for the raw energy of the likes of the Damned, Sex Pistols or Ramones, consequently they sold in extremely small quantities.
Occasionally one turns up that has been 'partied' to within an inch of its life, but those are not the ones we want.
Very very occasionally, one turns up in acceptable condition, it may even still have the lyric insert...if you're lucky. Obi-strip? Forget it!

This copy is COMPLETE with lyric insert and obi-strip. The sleeve as mentioned in the description has some light foxing on the front & back from storage, but is otherwise superb. The rare obi is showing some light wear but remains vivid. legible. The vinyl is in excellent condition with only minimal spindle marking to indicate just light play. The lyric insert is bright and clean!

A great copy of this seriously hard to find Japanese edition!
