THE BOY WHO TRAPPED THE SUN Fireplace (2010 UK 11-track CD album - Originally from the Isle of Lewis, a windswept outcrop of the Outer Hebrides, The Boy Who [aka Colin MacLeod] was discovered swinging round the rafters of an Aberdeen bar, dishing out Deep Purple covers. Having smashed his guitar and knocked himself unconscious on stage, he set to cleaning up both the broken instrument and his act. Beguiling, idiosyncratic alt-folk, his debut album, 'Fireplace', is full of strange, sometimes sinister stories, equally inspired by home, Hemingway, ghosts and vicious ex-girlfriends. Includes the singles 'Home', 'Katy' & 'Dreaming Like A Fool')
