THE SMITHS BEST…I In-Store Display (Original 1992 US promotional In-Store Display - issued to promote the first instalment of the band's greatest hits project, released by WEA. This display features the iconic 'smoking biker chick' from the artwork, with her male counterpart featuring on the second instalment, completing this picture; the credit for which goes to actor Dennis Hopper. Notably, this artwork did not feature on the US edition of the compilation and was replaced by artwork designed by Morrissey, featuring Richard Davalos [co-star of East Of Eden]. The display is in excellent condition considering it's life in a busy shop environment, and measaures 28"x31" [approx] - a fantastic promotional item)
