Steppenwolf - 1st

STEPPENWOLF Steppenwolf (Debut 1968 US 11-track stereo LP on a black ABC Dunhill label with rainbow boxed logo. Includes the classic, Born To Be Wild, which coined the name for an entire genre with the line "heavy metal thunder". Otherhighlights include a heavy version of Hootchie Kootchie Man & a pounding tour-de-force cover of Hoyt Axton's anti-drug, 'The Pusher'. The pasted picture sleeve has a foil effect finish & song hype flash & shows just a little faint corner weardue to the design. The vinyl is Excellent with few signs of play DS-50029)
