BRIAN WILSON That Lucky Old Sun (2008 US Capitol label limited collectors edition 17-track LP pressed on 180gm vinyl - eagerly anticipated new material from the legendary former Beach Boy, written in collaboration with Van Dyke Parks and bandmate Scott Bennett. Wilson describes the album as "consisting of five 'rounds', with interspersed spoken word". Its main theme is celebration of life in Southern California, harking back to the themes of Wilson's earlier work with the BeachBoys. Housed in a gatefold picture sleeve with promo marked barcode on the reverse, including lyric inner, this copy has been clearly AUTOGRAPHED and dedicated 'To Jones' by Brian Wilson across the front in black marker pen. The 'Jones' in question here is Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones who for the last five years has plied his trade as a radio DJ in Los Angeles - guaranteed authentic!!)
