DR DOG Fate (2008 UK 11-track CD album - 'Fate' is the 3rd album by Philadelphia-based quintet Dr Dog and sees them filtering the gamut of American popular music into its own idiosyncratic brand of blue-eyed, dilated-pupil soul. Drawing on some of the great threads of American music of the last 40 years, everything from Mercury Rev and The Basement Tapes, 'Fate' draws upon the events and circumstances that have surrounded the band over the last five years and incorporates them intothe groups most stunning work to date.
