THE SMITHS That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore. (Extremely rare 1985 original Rough Trade promotional poster to promote the single. This superb iconic piece of 'musical art' measures 23" x 11" with reproduced 'Soldiers Helmet' artwork from the 'MeatIsMurder' album sleeve featuring the cover star culled from Emile de Antonio's 1969 In The Year Of The Pig image. Morrissey replaced the words 'Make War Not Love' with 'Meat Is Murder' on the soldier's helmet to stunning effect!!. Also included is a small reproduction of the single sleeve. This poster has remained unfolded and never been displayed and is in stunning 'as new' condition - another top item for the Smiths collector!)
