ALAN PARSONS PROJECT Eye In The Sky (2007 German limited edition 10-track LP pressed on 180gram Virgin Vinyl, originally released in 1982; unimpressed and untouched by the usual cliched trappings of rock, Parsons proved that even without spectacular light shows, rock celebrities in the band or self-composed songs it was possible to rise to stardom - inspired by the 'no-future lifestyle' of the 80s, the songs impart a somewhat depressive character which serves as a stark contrast to the steely rock rhythms, free from electronic gimmicks. housed in a picture sleeve replicating the original artwork, still sealed in the hype stickered shrink)
