BIG STAR #1 Record (Super rare original 1972 US 12-track vinyl LP on the Memphis-based Ardent label, housed in a full colour back pasted picture sleeve. A commercial flop on release, this album is now regarded as a classic and was the blueprint for 'Power Pop' - there are a LOT of contemporary bands who would simply not exist if weren't for this record. Lack of sales mean this is a hard item to find regardless of condition, however although the sleeve on this copy has a small deletionnotch cut in the opening edge, it remarkably remains factory SEALED from new - just staggering!
