MOONDOG Rare Material (2006 UK issue 34-track 2-CD album set from the late Louis T. Hardin a/k/a the legendary Moondog, a New York street musician who was tragically blinded in a farm accident as a young adult; from the late 1940s until 1974, hewas a permanent fixture, busking mostly on 54th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan. He was known not only for his music and poetry, but also for the distinctive Viking garb that he wore, including a horned helmet!This collection gathers together hard-to-find material from his many 45, 78, EP and LP releases)
