William - Billie Whitelaw Sleeve - 4 prong

THE SMITHS William It Was Really Nothing (Very scarce 1987 UK Rough Trade 7" vinyl single with intact four prong centre, also including How Soon Is Now. The song is popularly believed to have been written by Morrissey about his friend Billy Mackenzie, lead singer of The Associates, with whom he was rumoured to be romantically linked. Housed in a mauve tinted picture sleeve featuring Billie Whitelaw as Lottie from the 1968 movie 'Charlie Bubbles', directed by Albert Finney. This issuehas now become increasingly hard to find and is much rarer than the original issue. Apart from some light wear, the sleeve remains in a really nice condition and the vinyl looks barely played RT166)
