FRANK ZAPPA Beat The Boots #2 (Limited Edition 1992 US 8 x CD box set, collecting bootleg recordings which were originally distributed illegally but were released officially as part of Zappa's campaign to dissuade his fans from buying illegal recordings of his concerts. The whole set is digitally remastered from the original sources & spans a ten year period from 1968 to 1978, including Swiss Cheese/Fire! which documents a famous 1971 concert at a casino in Montreux where the venue burned down [inspiring the lyrics of Deep Purple's 'Smoke on the Water']. Each album is housed in its respective album jewel case [Swiss Cheese/Fire! is a double] with picture inlay. Also includes a "Bodacious" Black Beret with a "Beat The Boots" pin badge attached to it, as well as a large black & white "Beat The Boots" short-sleeved T-Shirt [with cartoon artwork on the back], all housed in a 12" x 12" cardboard picture box with inside holder. The packaging is in Excellent condition with some minor cosmetic ageing. The T-shirt is in used "vintage" condition.
