DICKENS Sho' Need Love (Ridiculously rare 1971 US wide centred white title label advance promotional vinyl 7" for the withdrawn single release, also including Don't Talk About My Music, Scepter company die cut paper sleeve. This record was the one and only release by the band, issued briefly as this promo, before being withdrawn & most of the copies destroyed by executive dictat from the record company. What we have here is one of the few surviving copies that showcase the hard driving garage psyche of this New York state band that, to quote their lead guitarist Placco 'put everything on 10 and went wild, and it sounded great'. Now desperately sought after, this copy shows a little staining to the label, but the all important vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of play.
