HAWKWIND Hawkwind (2007 UK limited edition 7-track vinyl LP, the debut longplayer from the legendary space rockers, originally released in 1970 [although this version is a replica of the 1975 issue on Liberty's budget Sunset subsidiary], produced by ex-Pretty Thing Dick Taylor, a superb collision of psychedelically inclined electronics & Krautrock-inspired improvised heavy riffing, topped off with fluid lead guitar from Huw Lloyd-Langton and the insane squeaks 'n' squawks from Nik Turner's heavily treated sax - a true gem!
