JIMI HENDRIX Original (Well another item that deserves a 'trumpet fanfare', with this ORIGINAL 'pen, ink & pencil' drawing done by Jimi circa 1968. A pyschedelic stained glass style which depicts Noel, Mitch and himself which Jimi has additionallyinitialled J.H and dated 1968. This amazing piece of artwork has a long existing fold dating back many years, but would be hardly visible when framed. The item was previously puchased from Noel Redding in 1994 & has a hand written note onthe reverse confirming it was from his personal collection. OK as you can see this item is another one of those 'Blow Your Socks' off pieces and even if you have to sell your grandmother to buy this piece you owe it to your collection. This is the ONE for you.
As previously indicated this is an ORIGINAL pen, pencil and ink drawing done by Jimi circa 1968. A pyschedelic blend in a stain glass style which depicts Noel, Jimi and himself which Jimi has additionally initialled J.H and dated 1968 .
As indicated there is a long standing fold across the middle presumambly when Jimi gave the item to Noel back in the day. However with professional framing it will hardly be visible.
An interesting item both from an art perspective and also from a music memorabillia interest, original hand drawings and pictures from an artist as influential and acclaimed as Hendrix are almost impossible to find with most owned by the Hendrix estate.
We have offered this item un mounted and un framed so you can fully appreciate the quality and the authenticity of this item. However we would recommend professional framing to preserve this item.
The item comes complete with an EIL Certificate Of Authenticity' as well as a hand written note from Jimi's bassist Noel Redding on the reverse.
