CHARLES MINGUS The Complete 1959 CBS Charles Mingus Sessions (Limited Edition 1993 US mail order only 26-track Mosaic audiophile 4-LP box set, culled from Mingus' sessions that resulted in the album masterpieces, Mingus Ah Um & Mingus Dynasty,with many songs restored to their unedited forms, including previously "lost" solos & many alternate takes. Comes housed in a beautifully presented textured monochrome 12" box with front pasted picture cover & 16-page LP sized booklet, featuring stunning black & white session photographs & extensive liner notes, hand numbered out of 2500 & in stunning condition. The box shows very little of its age & all vinyl discs are near 'as new'. Recommended)
