ART PEPPER The Complete Village Vanguard Sessions (1995 German NINE CD boxed set, featuring the true beginning of Art's majestic comeback and consequently essential. Recorded over three nights in July 1977, for the first time you get to hear every performance including twenty four previously unreleased tracks, complete with 22-page booklet & housed in a superb 6" x 12" hard box. As Art put it - 'You have come to see history made' - It was. There is a small sticker mark in a topcorner of the box but othewise all contents are immaculate)
