SMALL FACES Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake (Rare 1968 UK first press 12-track MONO LP on the lilac Immediate label, housed in the original award-winning five-panel die-cut sleeve. The delicate sleeve is Near Mint with very little shelf wear, obtained by its one previous owner, an avid fan but who looked after his records well. Due to the design, the vinyl has picked up several paper hairline scuffs both sides. With some further spindle marks around the centre hole, the vinyl is carefully graded VG+/EX- & is clean both sides with great playback quality, especially on the intended mono setting. Increasingly hard to find! IMLP012)

Tracklisting: 01. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake 02. Afterglow 03. Long Agos And Worlds Apart 04. Rene 05. Song Of A Baker 06. Lazy Sunday 07. Happiness Stan 08. Rolling Over 09. The Hungry Intruder 10. The Journey 11. Mad John 12. Happydaystoytown

See 'More Info' for further details ...

Tracklisting: This legendary album recorded during Tubbs' second American tour almost needs no introduction & has since become a sought after gem in the Jazz world. The personnel involved (organised by the great Quincy Jones especially for this session) give you a clue as to the quality of this album : Tubby Hayes - Tenor Sax & Vibes "Jimmy Gloomy" - Tenor Sax & Flute Roland Kirk - Tenor Sax, Flute, Nose-Flute, Manzello & Stritch Walter Bishop Jr. - Piano Sam Jones - Bass Louis Hayes - Drums Sam Jones & Lewis Hayes were Julian 'Cannonball' Adderley's regular rhythm section, Roland Kirk has since become legendary in his own right & "Jimmy Gloomy" was none other than the great James Moody! Condition :- The sleeve shows light discolouration to the reverse, but nothing too severe with the flipbacks secure. There is the odd scuff to the edges with just a small nick to the spine, affecting the 'H' of Hayes, leaving the rest of the text legible. The front image remains clear and the laminate firm. An excellent copy. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & remains in Excellent condition. There is just the odd faint hairline visible leaving a wonderful overal deep sheen. The rough Fontana label especially shows spindle wear and this copy has just a couple of faint marks indicating minimal play over the years. All in all an astonishing copy of this legendary album that deserves a place in any self respecting Jazz collection! Tracklisting : 1. Afternoon In Paris 2. I See With My Third "I" 3. Lady 'E' 4. Stitt's Tune 5. Medley : If I Had You / Alone Together / For Heaven's Sake
