DEEP PURPLE BBC Sessions 68/70 (2011 UK MULTI-FORMAT [2LP / 2CD] Boxset, documenting Deep Purple's surviving BBC Session recordings for the first time. Cutting their first session even before their debut single Hush was released in thesummer of '68, the band were frequent visitors to the BBC studios over the next two years. Several of the versions here have never been issued before, others were never issued or recorded anywhere else, with material ranging from energetic guitarheavy versions of early tracks through to a blistering set from the monumental In Rock album. Each part is housed in a custom LP or CD size sleeve complete with extensive sessionography booklet, all kept in a 12" square picture box. Remains factory sealed and still in the original mailer box)
