 | SYD BARRETT The Madcap Laughs (1982 UK fourth issue
13-track vinyl LP on the green Harvest label with 'All Rights'
perimeter text & boxed EMI logo, originally released in 1970.
This was Syd's debut solo album finally appeared two years
after leaving Pink Floyd, with Dave Gilmour & Roger Waters
producing. This is a brilliant but brittle album, with every
strum of the electric guitar seeming to take its toll on

gatefold sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is a superb
copy showing litttle signs of play SHVL765)

 | THE SMITHS Hatful Of Hollow (1984 UK first press 16-track LP
featuring the 1983 John Peel & David Jensen Show sessions,
plus the singles Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now & William It
Was Really Nothing. Comes housed in the original Garrod &
Lofthouse printed gatefold picture sleeve complete with the
hype sticker attached & the often missing lyric inner. The
sleeve has some very negligable signs of wear. At a glance it
almost appears near as new!. Though on closer inspection, a
few minor shelfwear scuffs are evident and has a very small
area of water damage on the reverse. Despite this, the sleeve
retains its robustness with the edges appearing clean with all
text legible. The vinyl shows minimal wear, with just abit of
spindle wear to indicate play but looks well looked after for
its years ROUGH76)

 | MADONNA Ray Of Light (2019 UK/EU limited edition 13-track
double album 2-LP, originally released in 1998 and featuring
the hit singles Frozen, The Power Of Goodbye and Nothing
Really Matters, not to mention the stellar title track Ray Of
Light. Produced by Madonna and William Orbit, Ray of
Light is an electronica and techno-pop record which
incorporates multiple genres, including ambient, trip hop,
psychedelic music and Middle Eastern music, while also
seeing Madonna singing #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timewith greater breadth and a fuller
tone. Single-pocket picture sleeve, complete with picture /
lyric inners. The sleeve remains in the open shrink and shows
just a little wear to the exposed opening edge. The two vinyl
discs display minimal signs of play)
Tracklisting: Returning to pop after a four-year hiatus, Madonna enlisted respected techno producer William Orbit as her collaborator for Ray of Light, a self-conscious effort to stay abreast of contemporary trends. Unlike other veteran artists who attempted to come to terms with electronica, Madonna was always a dance artist, so it's no real shock to hear her sing over breakbeats, pulsating electronics, and blunted trip-hop beats.
