'swirl' inner, matt gatefold picture sleeve with an erroneous

further details VO6) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
Tracklisting: History
The eponymous debut studio album, recorded for Fontana Records in October 1969, prior to release the record company elected to switch the band to another of their labels, Vertigo Records, which housed the company's more progressive acts.
Released on Friday the 13th February 1970, the album reached number eight on the UK Albums Charts. Following its United States release in June 1970 by Warner Bros. Records, the album reached number 23 on the Billboard 200, where it remained for more than a year and sold one million copies.
Sleeve Notes
Three versions of the sleeve exist. The first issue had an erroneous copyright warning stating that “Copyright subsists in all Stereo recordings…”. The 2nd version corrected this to ”Copyright subsists in all Vertigo recordings…”. Both these versions had band member and production credits in capital letters throughout. The third version of the sleeve changed all credits into upper and lower case and also adds in composition and publishing credits, whilst all versions including reissues, mis-spell Ozzy Osbourne as Ossie Osborne.
This copy comes with the very first version of the sleeve, as stated above.
Label Notes
Large swirl logo above spindle.
“VERTIGO” below spindle hole.
“A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT” appears below “VERTIGO”
Upper case song titles with track numbers.
On later issues the 'Philips' referance is removed and the swirl logo becomes smaller

Condition
The sleeve has some minor scuffing edgewear, which is usual for the non laminate sleeves and has no splits or rips - although a medium amount of foxing is clearly visible thoughout.
Includes the original poly lined swirl inner, which shows a little light discolouration and a small seamsplit.
The labels show light foxing, whilst the vinyl is Good with plenty of light hairlines thoughout. We have play tested - some light crackling can be heard during the quieter passages.
Though not Mint - A nice copy of this extremely rare pressing, at an advantageous price.

hours of newly remixed audio from the original multitrack
session tapes. Experience the progression of each song as it
developed in the studio. Housed inside a large format hardbound

Tracklisting: The Doors found their mojo (and Mr. Mojo Risin’) in November 1970 as they recorded L.A. Woman over six days at the Workshop, the band’s rehearsal space on Santa Monica Boulevard. A success both critically and commercially, the album was certified double-platinum and contains some of the band’s most enduring music, including the Top 20 hit “Love Her Madly,” “Riders On The Storm,” and the title track.
To commemorate the album’s 50-year anniversary, Rhino keeps on risin’ with a 3-CD/1-LP set that includes the original album newly remastered by The Doors’ longtime engineer and mixer Bruce Botnick, two bonus discs of unreleased studio outtakes, and the stereo mix of the original album on 180-gram virgin vinyl.
For this new collection, the original album has been expanded with more than two hours of unreleased recordings taken from the sessions for L.A. Woman, allowing the listener to experience the progression of each song as it developed in the studio. An early demo for “Hyacinth House” recorded at Robby Krieger’s home studio in 1969 is also included. The outtakes feature Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Robby Krieger, and Ray Manzarek working in the studio with two additional musicians. The first was rhythm guitarist Marc Benno, who worked with Leon Russell in The Asylum Choir. The other was bassist Jerry Scheff, who was a member of Elvis Presley’s TCB band.
