A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Axis: Bold As Love (Rare 1967 UK first issue 13-track MONO vinyl LP, the second studio album by the English-American group, front laminated internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve)
See 'More Info' for furtherdetails and condition on this superb rarity...

Tracklisting: Information Both mono and stereo mixes of Jimi's first two albums were made by Jimi, Chas Chandler, and Eddie Kramer at Olympic Studios in 1967. Final stereo mixing for the album was done on October 31st and November 1st, 1967. Chandler and Kramer completed a mono mix of the album on November 2nd, 1967. There are noticeable differences between the two mixes that make this MONO version extremely special to collectors: EXP is shorter without the extended feedback at the end and the vocals are louder. Castles Made Of Sand features a different vocal performance. One Rainy Wish has a slightly different ending. There are other subtle differences too across the entire album as a result of the separate mixing to mono as opposed to merely combining the stereo tracks. Condition The Ernest J. Day sleeve is in great shape, with secure internal flipbacks and tight laminate. The colours remain rich, bright & vivid. There is some light wear to the corners, ring wear, a small scratch to the laminate on the reverse and minor scuffing evident with no writing or tears. A Very Good example. The labels are the smooth finish variety & black with silver print & lettering. There is no writing or tears to the print, with spindle marks around the centre hole to indicate some past action [who DIDN'T play this Hendrix classic way back when?]. The vinyl has just a few light scuffs & hairlines leaving it a strong VG+ with just a little ambient noise on the run ins and a great punchy sound. While far from mint, this example comfortably sits at a VG grade overall. Tracklisting 01. EXP 02. Up From The Skies 03. Spanish Castle Magic 04. Wait Until Tomorrow 05. Ain't No Telling 06.
