MICHAEL CHAPMAN Rainmaker (Rare 1969 UK debut 11-track stereo LP on a 'Gramophone Co' Harvest label without an EMI boxed logo & with 'Sold In The UK' text on both sides, indicating a first press with A2/B1 matrices. One of England's finestsinger-songwriters, he emerged on the folk circuit at the same time as John Martyn & Roy Harper, quickly gaining a deserved reputation as a man to hear. This album showcases all facets of his extraordinary talent, combining the funkiness of John Martyn with the fluidity of Bert Jansch in his guitar playing, all garnished with his unique vocal stylings and accomplished lyricism. The front laminated picture sleeve is graded VG showing some light general shelfwear with some age yellowing, scuffing at the edges & a little light creasing in a few places to the spine, also the inner spread has what was presumably a name or a cataloguing annotation neatly blocked out just above the title but otherwise is free of any other significant wear. The vinyl is the better score remaining a nice VG+/EX- condition with just a few light surface scuffs and only a few minimal spindle rubs to show for its 50+ years, there's a very small unobtrusive annotation again blocked out neatly next to the cat number just on Side 2, again possibly the previous owner's name but this is now blanked out discreetly and moreover is cosmetic doing nothing whatsoever to detract from the well kept disc itself. Overall a respectable and nice play copy of this classic first edition debut listed at an advantageous price! SHVL755)

KATE BUSH Corazon De Leon (Very Rare 1978 Argentinean promotional 10-track LP for the Lionheart album, with Spanish song titles on the sleeve & labels. The labels are custom black on white with gold diagonal 'Venta Prohibida Promocional' lettering both sides complete with the retail front laminated picture sleeve with Spanish titles & lyric inner. The cover shows very little of its age or origin & remarkably, the vinyl appears near mint! - An outstanding, extremely well looked after copy)
