A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Rare Archive Quality 1967 UK first press 13-track MONO LP with 'Gramophone Co' & 'Sold In The UK' label credits, complete with intact sheet of cut-outs & psychedelic 'flame' inner, fully laminated internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve PMC7027)
See 'more info' for further details on the condition of this rarity...

Tracklisting: The black & yellow Parlophone labels have vivid colours and clear text. The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 on Side One and 638-1 on Side Two. The vinyl is in beautiful near 'as new' condition with just the lightest trace of spindle wear to be seen, the shine of sixties vinyl still very much retained. The 'flame' inner is also in superb shape, free of the usual splits and looks like it was printed yesterday. The Garrod & Lofthouse internal flipback, fully laminated picture sleeve shows very little shelfwear and still displays sharp, rich, vibrant colours, secure flipbacks & clean, crisp laminate with the barest minimum of scuffing at the corners. Hard to find in such wonderful condition. TRACKLISTING: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 2:02 With A Little Help From My Friends 2:44 Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds 3:28 Getting Better 2:47 Fixing A Hole 2:37 She's Leaving Home 3:23 Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite ! 2:35 Within You Without You 5:06 When I'm Sixty-Four 2:38 Lovely Rita 2:44 Good Morning Good Morning 2:36 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) 1:19 A Day In The Life 5:02
THE WHO My Generation (Extremely Rare & Desirable 1966 Japanese first press 12-track deep-groove STEREO LP, on the dark blue & silver Decca label with 'Made By Teichiku Records Co.' perimeter text. Comes housed in the legendary & uniquesilk laminated 'girl cover' sleeve with scalloped flipbacks, illustrated lyric insert & the original printed clear inner bag. This all-time Mod classic was released on 3 December 1965 by Brunswick Records in the United Kingdom, but we know intheUnited States, it was released on 25 April 1966 by Decca Records as The Who Sings My Generation, with a different cover & a slightly altered track listing. A little known Japanese version was also released in '66, with a slightly altered tracklist & a beautiful unique cover found here. See 'more info' for condition details on this ultimate Who rarity... SDL-10271)

Tracklisting: Condition Very little is documented among Who fans & collectors regarding this unique 'girl cover' design. This is only the fourth time we have stocked an original pressing. It is near impossible to find these days in any condition. The sleeve grades a solid Excellent. There is nothing that spoils the lovely colour design. There is just the odd light crease marks to the edges, barely any ring wear & minor scuffing to the paper at the corners, but has no splits or rips and the flipbacks on the still white back are intact and complete, with all text sharp and clearly legible. This example will look fantastic on a shelf & the pinched-end spine remains near perfect, with clearly identifiable print. The mostly white back is exceptional - all text remains clear & vivid, including the original 'Made By Teichiku Records' print at the bottom along with the '1,800' yen price point. There is NO writing or annotation from its original owner! This stunning & colourful cover is worthy of framing & really yells 'sixties'! Some very light foxing is noticeable on both sides of the rare insert - there are no tears or extraneous writing. The labels have no tears or writing, with some spindle marks around the centre hole to show play. The vinyl is heavyweight and a high quality Decca pressing. Both sides have a deep sheen & grade Excellent. On close inspection, the amount of play is revealed to be very light with just a few very light cosmetic surface marks. If you can, you should! Highly recommended. Tracklisting Side A 1 My Generation 2 Please, Please, Please 3 It's Not True 4 The Ox 5 The Kids Are Alright 6 Instant Party Side B 1 A Legal Matter 2 Out In The Street 3 I Don't Mind 4 The Good's Gone 5 La La La Lies 6 Much Too Much
