BEGGAR'S OPERA Act One (Rare 1970 first UK issue 5-track LP on the large 'swirl' Vertigo label, with 1Y-1/2Y-1 matrices, housed in a matt gatefold picture sleeve with the original '1070' die-cut swirl inner. This debut introduced the band as a major player in the early British symphonic prog scene. Aside from a very small split to the top edge and some light scuffing the Keef designed gatefold sleeve has held up remarkably well with nice bright clean panels on the inner gatefold spread. The labels have only a couple of spindle marks and the vinyl itself shows little evidence of play - very nice indeed!)
